20141114_075751[1]The 5th grade at DES has been raising funds to support the East Alabama Food Bank. This is part of the leadership program at DES. We seek to grow leaders. To lead sometimes we must serve.

The 5th grade raised over $500 toward their service project on Friday by hosting a bake sale. They will continue to take donations through this week. For every $1 donated to East Alabama Food Bank, 7 meals are provided for community members in need.
