Each 5th grader was assigned a national, state, or local leader to research. The students have been responsible for collecting and maintaining their research in personal project packets. Each student will compose an essay about their assigned leader, memorize a speech, and give that speech while dressed as their assigned leader in a “Wax Museum” type setting. It has been an intensive project that started right after Spring Break.
We invite you to attend:
Sunday, May 18th will be our community-wide Leadership Day. DES invites the entire community to join us for this great event!
